I'm Ian McBride:
Illustrator and Screenwriter
in Los Angeles, California.

I focus on Storyboarding,
Character Design, and VisDev
for TV and FIlm. Mostly Animation.

That might seem like a lot, but my generalism stems from respect and understanding for every step of the Animation Pipeline, including the audience waiting at the end.

I'm a graduate of ArtCenter College of Design's Entertainment Design/Animation Program, 2024.
I was also a Writing Tutor there--you may have seen my work in a couple essays or pitch packages.

I wrote, directed, and animated
The Wild Life. It's the longest Capstone project in the history of ArtCenter's Animation Department.
(It's also really good.)

I tell stories about:
Winners taking hits.
Losers getting even. 
And the heroes in all of us waiting for the chance to pop.
