I'm Ian McBride, Illustrator and Writer in Los Angeles, California.

I storyboard, design, animate, write, paint, voice act, produce, manage, build/paint/strike sets, and more! All with a smile and a sense of humour.
 
TV? Film? Live Action? Animation? You name it. I do it. Easy peasy. I'm a fast learner, and I love the work. My generalist outlook stems from respect for every step of the pipeline, and a hunger to do it all.

I grew up here. My parents worked the same sets and offices as you.
I love this. It's family business. A dream come true.

I'm a graduate of ArtCenter College of Design's Entertainment Design/Animation Program, circa 2024. My capstone project The Wild Life is the longest film in the history of ArtCenter's Animation Department.
(It's not loads of still frames, either!)

I tell stories about winners taking hits, losers getting even, and the hero in all of us waiting for their moment to pop.
