Terms of Service

​To streamline the commission process, JUNGLEBOY ILLUSTRATION (hereby referred to as The Artist) reserves these rights and procedures. Please review carefully, as they are subject to change.

• Correspondence 

  • The Artist will answer any and all questions in a concise, organized, professional manner.

  • Negotiation

    • To negotiate a sale, The Artist will exchange UP TO four (4) emails before order confirmation in the form of Total or Initial Deposit. 

    • Commencement of commission is signified by signed invoice, delivered by email or in person, or delivery of deposit as quoted in said invoice.

    • Quotes are delivered with an expiration date, and are subject to change.

  • Commitment

    • After confirmation of payment, The Artist will answer any questions over phone or email during the working hours of 10 AM PST - 10 PM PST.

    • The Artist will communicate with The Patron professionally, facilitating the level of agreed upon consultation specific to the commission.

    • The Artist will present watermarked examples of the work in progress in routine updates, or on request.

  • Delivery

    • The Artist will deliver three (3) notices of the completion of the Commission.

    • The Patron must complete delivery of 100% or Total Deposit to receive their Commission free of watermarks

• Terms of sale

  • Licensing

    • The Artist reserves the right to retain work as samples for self promotion and securing future business, unless otherwise specified.

    • All art is licensed from the moment the agreement is completed and deposit is made. 

    • Modifications to licenses can be made after receipt of 100% of the original Deposit. This will result in additional fees pending negotiation.

    • Options for licensing:

      • Personal: gifts,  private/individual use

        • not for resale or reproduction.

      • Commercial: Merchandise, Promotional material, Brand Identity, etc.

        • for resale, reproduction, transformation

        • Variable in scale and scope pending negotiation.

  • Payment/Fees

    • The Artist will determine with The Patron whether an Initial or total Deposit is required up front.

    • No work will commence until receipt of Deposit. 

    • All art must be paid for in full by Patron before delivery of the final product.

  • Artist Creation Fee

    • Fee for labor required to complete commissioned work.

    • All art licensed for personal use only pays the Artist Creation Fee.

    • Accounts for (in descending order)

      • Complexity

      • Composition

      • Deadline Expectations

      • Materials

      • Training

      • Professional Development

      • Capacity for future potential utility/repurpose of commissioned work

  • Licensing Fee

    • Licensing for personal use is included free of charge.

    • Licensing for any level of commercial use iresults in a Licensing Fee amounting to 75-100% of the Artist Creation Fee.

  • Payment plans

    • Commissions licensed for personal use can be paid for either in full up front or through "one half at start, one half at completion" model.

    • Commissions licensed for professional use change based on size of business.

      • >7 employees: full deposit up front.

      • <7 employees: one half at start, one half at completion

  • Accepted platforms

    • The Artist accepts payment for commission through the following platforms.

    • PayPal

      • Payment must be secured as a Friends And Family transaction.

      • Payments not delivered as Friends and Family will be refunded at the expense of The Patron

    • Zelle

      • Inquire for contact information.

    • Cash

      • In-person delivery. Inquire for contact information.

• Revisions, and Refunds

  • Revisions

    • Patrons are entitled to one (1) round of revision with their order, unless otherwise specified.

    • Patrons may request additional revisions, either in negotiation, or after delivery of Deposit.

    • Additional revisions can be negotiated prior to Initial Deposit, resulting in slightly higher costs for total work.

    • Additional revisions requested after Initial Deposit will result in fees of $30/hour.

  • Refunds

    • No refunds on Initial Deposit.

    • No refunds for 100% completed work delivered and paid for.

  • Cancellation

    • If Patron chooses to cancel an order in the middle of production, they are responsible for fees based on level of completion at time of cancellation as assessed by the artist.
